Located in the heart of Wildwood, New Jersey, Dogtooth Bar & Grill has been a beloved destination for both locals and visitors since its inception in 2007. Founded by Brendan Sciarra, Dogtooth is a proud member of the MudHen Hospitality family, which also includes Poppi’s Brick Oven Pizza, MudHen Brewing Company, and The Hen Houses micro-resort .
The inspiration behind Dogtooth Bar & Grill traces back to Brendan’s father, Mike Sciarra, a passionate surfer who established the iconic Kona Surf Co. after returning from Oahu in 1969. Brendan infused this legacy into Dogtooth, creating a space that celebrates surf culture and community. A surfboard from the original Kona Surf Shop proudly adorns our restaurant, symbolizing our deep-rooted connection to the ocean and local heritage .​
