Cold Plunge, Warm Welcome

On Saturday, January 18th, the fearless flocked to the Wildwood beaches for the annual Polar Bear Plunge, and Dogtooth Bar & Grill was the go-to stop for pre-plunge fuel, post-plunge drinks, and all-day celebration. With cozy bagels, early pours, and our signature hospitality, we kicked off the morning the Dogtooth way — bold, fun, and full of heart.

Fueling Up for the Freeze

Starting bright and early, plunge participants gathered in our main dining room to enjoy complimentary orange juice and bagels before taking the icy dip. Whether you were diving in or cheering from the sidelines, our kitchen opened at 10 AM to serve up hearty favorites — perfect for warming up after a run into the Atlantic.

The bar opened at 9:30 AM, offering liquid courage in the form of $7 Bloody Marys and Mimosas and $2.50 PBRs — a deal that ran all the way until 6 PM. It was the kind of morning that made braving the cold totally worth it.

Supporting a Great Cause

This annual tradition isn’t just about the splash — it’s about making a difference. Proceeds from the Polar Bear Plunge support Special Olympics New Jersey, helping athletes across the state access the resources and recognition they deserve. Dogtooth was proud to be part of a day that brings the community together for a cause that truly matters.

Thank You, Plungers & Partygoers

From the brave souls who took the plunge to the guests who joined us for breakfast and beers, we’re grateful for everyone who made January 18th unforgettable. Your energy, generosity, and wild winter spirit helped start the year off strong.

We’ll see you next year — same time, same chill, same Dogtooth energy.
